Online Therapy for OCD, Anxiety, and Perinatal Mental Health in California & Michigan

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before getting started. Can't find an answer? Send me a message.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, I am in-network with some insurance plans (BCBS of Michigan, Stanford Cardinal Care, and Lyra Health). Please reach out to confirm whether your specific plan is accepted. If I am out-of-network with your insurance, I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement - many clients are able to recover a portion of session costs this way.
How much does therapy cost?
The session fee is $230. If you have out-of-network benefits, your insurance may reimburse part of this cost. I'm happy to discuss fees during our free 15-minute consultation.
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes - I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so we can get a sense of whether we're a good fit before you commit to anything.
What types of therapy do you offer?
I offer individual therapy for adults. I specialize in OCD, anxiety disorders, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), perinatal mental health, and perfectionism. My approach is rooted in evidence-based methods - primarily Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor these tools to fit your specific needs and goals.
What is ERP and why do you use it for OCD?
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is the gold-standard, evidence-based treatment for OCD. It involves gradually facing fears while resisting the urge to engage in compulsions. It sounds daunting, but we go at a pace that feels manageable - and it works.
What can I expect in the first session?
In our first session, I'll get to know you - what's been going on, how it's affecting your life, and what you're hoping therapy can do for you. We'll use that time to start building a picture of what treatment might look like.
How long does therapy take?
It depends on your goals and what you're working on. Some clients see meaningful progress in a few months; others choose to continue longer. We'll regularly check in on how things are going and adjust as needed.
